The model continues the famous Royal series line whose representatives have for the last few years been taking leading positions in various ratings in this sphere. They are acknowledged as top products in their class not only by ordinary buyers, but also by professionals.
Many technical specifications make the novelty close to Royal 1R. Unlike the latter, Royal 2R has higher output power (100 W) and bigger size.
High frequencies are reproduced with silk dome-shaped tweeters 25 mm in diameter. Low frequencies are within responsibility of a 165 mm woofer. Its bullet-shaped phase equalizer minimizes sound distortions and increases gain frequency characteristics.
The diffuser of the woofer is made of braided polymer material. The novelty provides detailed, deep, clear and intense sound.
The developers have thoroughly explored the question of the system’s connection to various audio sources. Royal 2R is compatible with PCs, laptops, DVD players and other multimedia players. Two switchable stereo inputs available offer a possibility to connect two devices at once.
The system is controlled with a remote control, as well as with a button panel located on the front side of the left speaker. The remote control has such functions as master volume control, separate treble and bass control, Mute mode, switching between stereo inputs (AUX, PC). The convenient information control panel has three buttons for treble, bass and master volume level adjustment. The duplication of these options is very reasonable, as in case the remote control won’t operate, the basic controlling functions are still available to the user.
The wooden case with piano lacquer front panel finish is a popularly accepted trend in speakers’ design and the hallmark of the Royal series. The novelty is made in classical black colour adding to its elegance, refinement and royal demeanour.
