Portable acoustics is a world of established formats and proven solutions, where it is increasingly difficult to come up with something really new. Devices that not only work flawlessly, but also bring vivid emotions to the user become even more valuable. Our developers have coped with this task again by creating SVEN PS-880. They chose a cube format with rounded corners for the case, which is rare for this segment, and equipped the speaker with a maximum of functions, adding several unexpected features.

At first glance, the dynamic RGB backlight attracts attention. In addition to the traditional backlight of the speakers and the front panel, a large square light matrix, divided into segments, is located on the side edge - associations with a Rubik's cube and a panel with MIDI controller buttons are instantly recognizable. There are 10 modes included: from equalizer bars to SVEN labels and even emulations of classic Snake and Tetris games. It is a significant step forward in terms of appearance for a portable speaker.

Besides the spectacular design, PS-880 provides powerful and clear sound combined with elaborate ergonomics. The compact case for its class (283×329×292 mm) with a weight of 6.2 kg is equipped with a convenient handle for carrying, and the built-in battery works up to 10 hours, allowing you to arrange a holiday anywhere — from friends' apartment to the waterside. The declared power is 110 W, and a two-band system with a 143 mm diameter bass speaker and a 34 mm diameter tweeter is responsible for high-quality sound. TWS technology makes it possible to combine two PS-880 into a stereo pair, increasing the volume and scale of the sound.

SVEN PS-880 is also suitable for karaoke lovers: there is a wired microphone included, and two microphone inputs allow you to sing a duet. The adjustable echo effect adds depth and volume to the voice. Connection to the sound source is possible via Bluetooth, and the NFC tag is provided for quick connection. Wired AUX connection is also available and audio files can be played directly from a USB flesh driver or microSD card.

You can control the parameters of PS-880 using the controls on the top panel of the case, as well as from the remote control included in the package. Parameters of working are displayed on a compact but informative LED display, which is effectively built into the volume control handle and serves as another noticeable and interesting decorative element that adds originality to the design. Among the useful features, fast charging via USB Type-C with support for Quick Charge and Power Delivery should be noted, which significantly reduces time it takes to prepare the speaker for the next party.
